Default Charts can the end points of 2 lines be moved as one?

With Office 2000, is it possible, while graphing 2 lines, to hook the end
points of the two lines and move them as one? I am using the chart wizard
with the XY scatter plot and have chosen the "scatter with data points
connected by smooth lines without markers." During the experiment, line 1 has
end points at (6,3) and (6,5) while line 2 endpoints are (6,5) and (5,5.5).
The individual end points can be moved using a cursor. Is it possible to
attach the two overlapping points such that they can be moved as one?
Furthermore, could the 2 lines be attached and both moved as one item? Thank
you for your help. Chris
