I've been tasked to getting to the third standard deviation. I know
Excel has the STDDEV function, but that only takes you to the first deviation, right? Is there a way to use the STDDEV function in Excel to get to the third deviation? Any help you have on this would be appreciated. |

If you have calculated the standard deviation of a distribution, then three
standard deviations above the mean is just the mean plus 3 times the standard deviation. -- Gary''s Student " wrote: I've been tasked to getting to the third standard deviation.
