I am currently working on a multiple sheet excel workbook. There are two
pages for each month of the year. The first page of each month has data typed in. The second page of each month has formulas that reference the first page. I have finished the month of January and wanted to copy the formulas from January page 2, to February page 2, March page 2 , etc. When I do this, February's formula page (page 2), that has formulas copied form January page 2, references January's page 1 of data, i want the copied formulas to reference February's page 1 of data, not January's page 1. Is there anyway to do this? It would save me a lot of time duplicating formulas. |

Hi Hoz, after you copy the formulas to the destination worksheets select the cells in which you have the wrong link to the January worksheet and from menu Edit, Replace in the Find box type January and in the Replace one type February, March, (i.e. the corresponding sheet tab names for those months) and so on depending on the month you are working on... -- (I'm not sure of names of menus, options and commands, because translating from the Italian version of Excel...) Hope I helped you. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Ciao Franz Verga from Italy |
