Dear All,
I am running Excel 2003 and it has an external link (addin function) to other file. When I open the file, it would ask for "Update" or "Don't Update" if the link doesn't exist. I could see the value behind the dialog box. As soon as I clicked on "Don't Update", the cached value was gone. I would like to keep the cache value. I have checked "Edit - Links - Automatic" and couldn't change link to "Manual". It was gray out. Please help. If I open the same file on Excel 2000, it would ask for update "yes" or No". I clicked on "No" and the cached value was there. I don't understand why "Don't Update" couldn't keep the cached value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
