Greetings all,
Can someone please tell me the best expression to use to find the highest number, in a column H of numbers (which include empty fields) between H3 and H600. Thanks in anticipation Rednelle |

Sorry to aggravate. Obviously Max(H3:H600)

Max ignores blanks and text values fine
=MAX(H3:H1000) -- HTH RP (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "Rednelle" wrote in message ... My mistake was trying to use MS Help.
Oh, really? I just typed highest number in the Answer Wizard box, and MAX worksheet function was the first item in the list. |
