Default Searching numbers in Worksheet?

Hi oldchippy

Thank you for your answer.
I followed the link that you have provided and looked at the User
Defined Functions.
Unfortunately I don't know much about coding.
I don't understand where should I implement the code.
Where do I use it?
Is there any easier "conditional formating formula"?
I also want this formula to count my picked and highlited numbers and
show me how many numbers that I have picked is in first 40 cells and
how many numbers is in the second lot of 40 cells in the same row.
If you need any more explanation please let me know.
Waiting for help.
John
