I have Filters and Check Boxes (for Rows)

Question please.

Every time I use the filter it opens all the Rows that
have a check Box, Can I put in a formula that will allow
to filter and the rows will not open.

Yes I can Filter sort and then close without saving but
this is on a network, so this is why hopefully I can
overcome the problem with a formula.
