Default code suddenly stoips wiorking in Excel 2010

Three years ago I wrote some VBA code for a colleague. The code was written in Windows XP/MS Office 2003. This colleague has been running this spreadsheet weekly with no problems.

Recently, (about two months ago) his machine was upgraded to Windows 7/MS Office 2010 from Win 7/MS Office 2007. The spreadsheet was running fine until a few days ago when suddenly,

1) the custom menus (created by VBA upon file launch), accessed from the "add ins" tab, no longer load

2) when I try to run the code from the VBA windows, it no longer recognizes the named ranges built into the spreadsheet

However, his file runs normally on my machine (Win 7/MSO 2007) or on another colleague's machine (Win 7/MSO 2010.

Nothing seems to be corrupted.

Suggestions?
