Default Filter based on cell contents.

Hello
I would like to filter a list of requirements in B5:B500, and in
C5:500 the group to which the requirement applies. Some requriements
only apply to 1 group while others may apply to all groups (There are
15 groups total). I would like to be able to enter a list of
requirements based on the Groups that are entered in cell F4, ie.,
Cat, Dog, Fish. In the alternative, I could list the groups and
utilize a check box beside that applicable groups.
Thanks in advance!

Hi

You could try this link

Debra Dalglieshs "Contextures Website"

She has a miriad of DataValidation routines that may help with what you
need.

http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal15.html

It allows you to do multiple levels of Select & Filter based on you
criteria.

Mick.
