I have a desparate need to link a drop down/combo box to a pivot table
and would appreciate any ideas or techniques to get this done. Sheet2: This sheet has all the line item details. For instance, A2 = Country, B2= State , C3 = City, C4 = blah blah blah .. approximately 12 columns. In sheet3, I've pivoted the data in sheet2 so that in the PAGE section of the pivot are 3 options (Country, State and City). In sheet1, this is where I have the 3 combo menu corresponding to the 3 options on the pivot in the same order (Country, State and City). How can I change the PAGE selection of the pivot through the combo menus in sheet1? I know I can leave it at pivot page and be done but my clients aren't very pivot crazy and they've specifically asked for drop down menu instead. Any thoughts and ideas are greatly appreicated. Much thanks. |
