The whole idea of password protection is to keep people out of restricted
areas that do not have the password. Apparently, you do not have the password. How am I or anyone else supposed to know if you are the rightful owner or user of this file? If you setup a password for anything, you have the responsibility to keep your password safe and usable. A note to EVERYONE: I strongly encourage that all Excel users and developers DO NOT HELP ANYONE that wants entrance to files when they do not have the proper password. "Dom Jameson" wrote in message ... I have forgotten a password to an old excel vba code I created some time ago. Was wondering if there is some way of removing the vba password protection. Tried all my default passwords but no good. Since have made spreadsheet with all my passwords on so it wont happen again, but I really need the old code.
