Is it possible to check a workbook's properties without opening it?
If so, can a workbook's custom properties also be checked? Any code doing this would be appreciated. PWS |

Hi,
VB doesn't directly support doing that but Chip Pearson has a method on his site http://www.cpearson.com/Excel/docprop.aspx -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question.
