Default color matching

I have three columns. first one is terminated employee numbers, second one
is a counter from 1-5000 the third is active employee numbers.

currently i have it programmed so that if a number on the first column
matches a number in the third column then the two turn green to show a
duplicate allowing me to see and eliminate termed employees. what I would
like to do thou is in the second column, if the number in column 3 is green
color the number to the left of it green as well.

I need this done as a conditional format I currently have in place is taking
precident over the green as it something else.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
