Default value lookup?

Hello,
just starting to use Excel 2007.
But I have a wookbook with several sheets. On sheet "5" I have two named
areas with a list of names. One sheets 1 - 4 I have a column that I want to
have it look up the value in that row for that column from either one of the
lists on Sheet"5" and color code it based upon if the value came from List 1
or List 2?
How hard is this going to be?
