Default Excel 2007 Chart Colors

I posted this a few days ago and no one has responded. Does anyone know how
to manipulate the colors of a chart in Excel 2007???

I have the following code that was written in Excel 2003. Every
time I run it in Excel 2007 it crashes. I can't find anything about changing
the colors of a series in an Excel 2007 chart. Also, when I try to record a
macro to change the chart colors to gain insight, nothing gets written to the
macro regarding the color change. Help!

Sheets("Chart1").SeriesCollection(1).Interior.Colo rIndex = 5

You received two replies. It appears you are using the MS Communities Web
News interface which can make things very difficult and unreliable.

Peter,

I see the posts now at the google site. Thank you so much. But what's
wrong with using the MS Communities Web News interface? I'm confused by that.

Thanks.

In this particular case I could be wrong, I can see the two replies are
visible in "WebNews". I'm not sure how long they have been there but from
what you said maybe they have only recently arrived.

More generally there have been periods in which the majority of NNTP posts
sent from Newsreaders and other web interfaces (eg Google groups) have taken
anything up to a week to be visible to WebNews users. Even when things are
working normally NNTP posts take about 45 minutes to arrive to WebNews
(although WebNews posts seem to be visible to the rest of the world
quickly).

Anyway, trust the replies that you now see answered your chart question.

Regards,
Peter T
