Is it possible to Format a number cell to display a fraction. ie 9.25
equals 9 1/4, but to reduce the gap or distance between 9 and the 1/4 so it's much closer? or better yet. Make the fraction piece small and raised? |

This doesn't really help with my problem. I know how to display a cell as a fraction. I need to reduce the gap in between the whole number and the fraction..or better is to shrink the fraction in actual size and raise it up like you might see in a book. |

You must mean like the InsertSymbol facility allows you to do for a limited
mumber of fractions like 1/2, 1/3, 1/4. I do not know of any way to do that for just any fraction. "srosetti" wrote in message ... That's what I was thinking.. I knew of the symbols, but they're very limited. If you think of something..I'm all ears.. Thanks ;-) |
