Default Structured reference question

I have this formula in a table that's referencing another table.

=PLAN[[#This Row],[1/1/2009]]

In another row in the current table, I have a date and I'd like to use that
instead of [1/1/2009] if at all possible. How would I modify the formula to
do this?

Thanks,
Barb Reinhardt
