Default How to stop Excel 2007 to create new instance while opening multiple files ?

Whenever I open multiple files in Excel 2007, it creates new Instance, and I
have almost 25 files to be updated every day, and when its time to close the
files, I have to select and close 25 files individually, how can I close all
files just by click on Excel X Button, just like Office 2003.

Any idea please ?

Best Regards,

Luqman
