Default web query and formatting

I am using a web query to get data from an intranet site and put it onto a
new worksheet in Excel. I want to know if it's possible to keep the
formatting of the destination when doing this as some of the data on the web
page looks like '08E077' which gets converted to scientific notation in Excel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
