Default "Project is unviewable"

Hello, I have recently installed a couple of add-ins - and when I
double-click the project in the VBE, it says "Project is unviewable" in a
msgbox.

What has the author done to make it 'unviewable', and how could I do the
same, if I wanted, to my projects?

Thanks

The file is locked, and protected with a password:
http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93909

You can password-protect a file by following these steps.
Tools | VBProject Properties... | Protection (tab) | Lock Project for
Viewing (checkbox)

Be forewarned, passwords in MS products are easily disabled. However,
protection may be pretty good and keep out the average user. As the old
saying goes, you can easily protect yourself against 99% of people doing
something bad to your file, but there is nothing available that will protect
you from the other 1%.

Excel workbook may also be shared. Unshare and you can view the project.

I know that you can password protect a project, but that would give a box
that prompts for a password. This is not what happens with these add-ins.

Is it possible to 'share' an addin?

This would certainly explain the behaviour.
