Default Re-format Date

I need the date format in this code....

ActiveSheet.Name = "Sort " & Format(Date - 1, "ddd mmm dd")

To be used in this code (cause dates in E2 have / which can be in
sheet name).

.Subject = "Sort " & " " & Range("e2").Text

Can someone tell me how to marry the two into one code?
