Default What application do you use to write VBA on?

Is there something I am missing about your question... why not just write
your code in the VB editor that Excel provides for you?

They say the clearest is Notepad. Some use an alternative notepad such
as Notepad++, but some of these apps have bugs. There is Wordpad, Works
Word Processor, and Word.
