Default Trying the impossible

I think this is impossible, but if it HAD to be done
how might it be acheived?

One column in a multi column List box requires colours.

Can you put a list box on tip of an existing one, ending up
with an individual one for each row and thus a colour property
for each row? Or is that silly? Would a frame help? Could the
column be built as a graphic and put on the list box ?

Thanks - Kirk
