Default VBA Convertors

I'm trying to open a .xla file that is full of macros with Excel 2007 but it
was made by an earlier version.
I get the messag (Opening the VBA project in this file requires a component
that is not currently installed. This file will be opened without the VBA
project. For more information, search Microsoft Office Online for "VBA
Convertors").
When i search for the convertors i find it for MAC users only not for
Windows !!!
Can anyone help me in this issue ?

Default VBA Convertors

Following link has some information.
What version of Excel is the workbook from? Is it Excel 5 as referred to in
the article?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926430

If you Google the entire error message there is quite a bit of info but I
have not checked it out to see if there is a resolution.
