I had excel making sounds using
Beep for several days. Today, it is silent. What should I look for? Did I turn something off by accident? |

Silence can be caused by many things:
1. if you have external speakers, insure they are powered and set to audible volume 2. open the master volumn control in systray and insure mute is not set and the volume is audible -- Gary''s Student - gsnu2007L "Fan924" wrote: I had excel making sounds using Beep for several days. In xl2003 menus:
Tools|Options|general tab make sure that "provide feedback with sound" is checked (and that you've downloaded the Sounds program from Microsoft.)
