Default List Box not working when used in German Version of Excel

I am sharing an Excel Workbook in 2003 with a German counterpart using a List
Box for selection and deselection of items (items are ions, i.e with + or
minus symbol within a parenthesis after each element). The List Box takes
the items selected and put them on a Table on the spreadsheet. The
Selection, deselection & transposing of the items work in my Excel 2003 and
not with my German counterpart.

I thought that MS Excel would translate the English VB in the German Excel
version. I know that dates are transposed in the European method and not on
the English method.

I would appreciate any insight or help in this matter.

Thanks.
