Default 2 Problems with Excel

Hi everybody

I am creating a Excel Tool which is created in Excel 2003. In this tool I am
using forms. Data Bindings with cells I made manually through code not using
ControlSource. I am using MultiPages.

Every thing works fine.

Now many users which want to use the tool have Excel XP (Excel 2000 V
9....).

To get my tool work the users have to deactivate scripting and remove the
Reference Ref Edit Control (Excel tells me that it could not be found),
because otherwise the tool don't work because it cannot find some
vb-command.

When the RefEdit Control is remove (I could not find another RefEdit Control
which is from the XP-Version, so I let it be and only removed it) the tool
starts proper.

Then I open the form edit some data, close the form a save the file into
another file. Now when I open this file, excel crashes when I try to open
the form. Only on this version.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the help.

I am not sure I understand what you did in developing your "tool", but you
should not have to remove any functionality of another system for your "tool"
to work. If you were getting error messages, then your "tool" probably
needed to be tweaked instead of removing functionality from other systems.
