I need to create a macro to sort horizontally a worksheet with about 60
columns and 1200 rows. The sort should work on selection of columns, which is from column I to BH (9 - 60). Sort should work on values in 8 non-adjacent rows. My first thought was to transpose selection in another worksheet, sort using concatenated values (and perform some averaging) and then transpose back. But max # of cells in a row seems to be limited by 256 in Excel 2003 (and 2007 is not an option for several reasons) so transpose does not seem as a feasible plan... I have a sample excel file with "before" and "after" worksheets illustrating what I need but I do not see how to upload a file here... Any ideas would be appreciated. |
