I've posted this before, but I'm not sure it was actually posted.

I use Option Explicit as a matter of course with all of my code. I'm
assisting a colleague who is trying to get his code to work on 2007 and he's
not using Option Explicit. I get the impression that Excel 2007 is not as
forgiving with undeclared variables as Excel 2003. Is this true? If
someone could direct me to an article about this somewhere I'd be most
appreciative.

Maybe they just have the "Rquire Variable Declaration" box checked in the VBE
ToolsOptionsEditor dialog box.
