Default Can't get rid of multiple project references in VBA

Using Excel 2003. In VBA, in the project pane, I have three hold over
references to some other template that is not open. All three refer to the
same template. And even if I open a new blank spreadsheet and go to the
project pane, I see these same three template references.

Any thoughts? All three are .xls. Thanks.
