Default Why, when I post a thread, can I not reply to a response using thereply button?

I've posted a thread this evening and no matter how much I try I can't
respond to the person who is trying to help me. I keep getting 'post
successful' message but nothing seems to happen. It's infuriating!

If you are using the Google news reader, it takes a few seconds to process
and you can click on refresh to see if it appears on the display. It will
not appear as soon as you post it.
