I have an Excel file with e.g. 20 whorksheets.
Now I want to change the page setup (for print) and the page margins. As far as I can see I can do this only for ONE sheet at a time. Is there really no way to change these options for all sheets which currently exist in ONE (!) step ? Claudia |

Just select all your sheets before entering Page-setup.
Normally you'd select the first sheet, hold shift then the last sheet. However with 20 sheets you might find it easier to select the first, hold shift, then Ctrl-PageDown until you get to your last sheet. Regards, Peter T "Claudia d'Amato" wrote in message ... Right-click on the sheet tab and then click on Group all sheets. Now
you can make the changes to File | Page Setup such as margins and headers/footers etc and those changes will apply to all sheets. Just remember to ungroup the sheets once you have finished by right- clicking the sheet tab again and selecting Ungroup sheets. Hope this helps. Group your worksheets.
Select the "sending" worksheet tab first. Then ctrl-click on the "receiving" tabs. Then do the File|page setup stuff Lots (not all) of those settings will be applied to all the sheets that are grouped together. Then make sure you ungroup your worksheets. My post from this morning does not seem to have gone through, so I'll
repeat it here. If you group the sheets together then you can make changes to one which will affect all the others. To do this, right-click on a sheet tab and select Group All Sheets. Then use Page Setup to set margins, headers/footers etc and all sheets will reflect these changes. Don't forget to Ungroup the sheets afterwards by right-cliking a sheet tab again and selecting Ungroup sheets. Hope this helps. Your post made it ok.
But Claudia set the followup to the .programming group. You won't see your response in the .misc group.
