Hi,

What kind of formula I need to use that exel would count sum from different
shells, depending what code I have used in colum A?

Here is examble of excel sheet that I have made;

A B C D
"CODE" "DATE" "TEXT" "NUMBERS"
M2.1 4.8.2008 BUTTER 0.59?
M5.4 5.8.2008 BEER 10.20?
M2.3 5.8.2008 CASOLINE 40?
M2.1 5.8.2008 BREAD 1.98?

I wonder if there is any formula that I can use that would check what code
is in column A, and then it check what amount is in column D and count the
sum of all different codes?

Please help me.
