the problem i am having(see the interior.colorindex does not work?
thread if you are interested) seems to be specific to the sheet i'm
working on. if i try coping the data to another workbook, i get the same
problem, even though the code works on other sheets in the workbook.

you would think that the following code, .cell(x,x).interior.colorindex
= 3, would change the cell color to red. on this specific sheet it
actually colors the cell white. i used the following to see what else
was off incase their was an offset or something. x=1 gives a blue
color, x=2,4-6 is black, and 3 as mentioned above is white. starting at
x=7 things seem to be working fine.

for x = 1 to 56
..cell(x,1).interior.colorindex = x
next x

can anyone think of any sheet properties/settings/voodoo that may cause
this. (there is no conditional formatting on the cells). for the time
being i will shade using a different color, but i would like to the
cause of the problem.
