Comparing cells with text to cells with numeric values.
This will return a three character abbreveation using any date
WeekdayName(Weekday(DateValue("4/25/08")), abbreviate:=True) "David B" wrote: I am manually entering an abrv. day of the week in one cell and need to compare that to a formula generated day of the week in another cell in a what if statement. At this point I have been unable to figure out how to make the two cells communicate. -- David B |
