Default Stock Quotes to Excel

Hi,

Is there a way to pull stock quotes directly from the internet using Excel
vb? All I want is simple code where I read the ticker symbol in cells(1,1)
in the activesheet and it pulls the latest stock quote into cells(1,2). I
can write the rest of the code. My only hitch is that I'm running Mac
Office 2004.

Thanks in advance,

Rocky

This probably has everything you could want or need:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xltraders/

Create an account (if you don't have one), login, and click 'Files' on the
upper left hand side of your screen.

Also, if you use MS Explorer, you can get on a stock-related web site,
right-click, and click 'Export to Microsoft Excel'.

Hi I tried what you said and created an account but none of the files
actually worked in excel 2004 for Mac. Too bad I'd like to pull live quotes
in and manipulate them for analysis.

Regards,
Rocky
