Default Reading office properties - dsofile.dll

"greg" wrote:

Hello,
It does not appear that dsofile.dll is installed on Windows XP by default.
Is it installed on Vista or one of the dot net packs by default?

Is there any way of reading office document properties, besides using
dsofile.dll?
Anything built in to windows xp, vista, or dot net?

thanks

Per the writeup at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/224351, it would appear
it is up to you to distribute this if you want to use it.
