I have two workbooks - All the sheets and the workbook have been protected using Macros in both cases. When I try to copy *a range of cells in a sheet in Workbook1, the ant lines appear around the selected range indicating activation of the copy command. However using Ctrl+v or the rightclick, I am unable to paste to another sheet. The same thing (copy and paste) *however works in case of the Worksheet in the other Workbook. The problem sheet has some columns hidden and also some cells are open (unlocked) *for data entry. Does this matter? Please help in trouble-shooting the issue. Thanks in advance for all the help. Regards, Rajendra Further to the above. I unprotected a worksheet in the Workbook where I was having problems. Now I can copy from the protected sheet and paste in the unprotected sheet in the same workbook. However, when I try to paste in another workbook, the paste becomes disabled. I checked the Workbook.deactivate event in ThisWorkbook. It adds some commandbars and deletes a custom commandbar, hides a form and shows a form. Are these actions disabling the paste operation? Please help in understanding and trouble-shooting the issue. Thanks, once again. Regards, Rajendra |
