I'm new to VB 6.0. I want help writing a macro to rename an existing Excel
worksheet using a value that is contained in a cell on another worksheet in the same workbook. If I use: worksheets("sheet1").name=MonthName(1,1) the sheet is renamed JAN. However if I use: ....MonthName("report_month",1) where "report_month" (with or without quotation marks) refers to a cell that contains the number 1, I get zip. If I use an message box to display the value of "report_month", the box displays the location of the cell named "report_month". How can I get MonthName to recognize the VALUE of the contents of "R-M"? Many thanks. |
