Default Formula Madness

I hope you can help. I have 1 workbook and 2 worksheets. I am trying to
come up with a formula(if possible). In my summary worksheet I have a column
that needs to be changed monthly with the current sales figures. In the
other worksheets these amounts are put into different columns. Is there
anyway that a formula can be created to change monthly totals. I also need a
formulas as well to the sales amount per quarter of per 6 mos again is there
anyway to have a formula to do this.

Thanks for any help you can give me

Is your problem just getting a sum of
cells on Sheet2 (e.g.) onto sheet1?
On Sheet 1 you can have
=SUM(Sheet2!A1:B3)
