Default Version Issues

We are currently moving from Excel 2003 to 2007. A lot of our spreadsheets
contain macros. We send out these sheets saved as Excel 2003 so everybody can
use them. However some users return them saved in the new 2007 format. When
this happens the macros no longer work (even though they have been enabled).
Is this normal and is there a way around the problem?

Try downloading and installing the compatibility packs

Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007
File Formats
