Information forweb queries in the current Excel 2007 are stored in the
Temporary Internet Files. If you have queries that run several times the Temporary Intnert Folder fills up and no further updates to web queries are possible - the error message is- "The file could not be accessed. Try one of the following: €¢ Make sure the specified folder exists. €¢ Make sure the folder that contains the file is not read-only. €¢ Make sure the file name does not contain any of the following characters: < ? [ ] : | or * €¢ Make sure the file/path name doesn't contain more than 218 characters." After the Temporary Internet File folder if deleted web queries function correctly. Microsoft - would you consider providing some means to automatically delete these files(vba enable code or internet explorer command line instructions). ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
