I lost My Personal Macro Workbook. It is not open for Macro
recording.

Does anyone know where it may be? How to get it back?

Personal files are stored in the following directory

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11 in the directory XLSTART

If you version of office has changed in may be under OFFICE10 or OFFICE12.

Try searching for Personal.xls and if found ensure it's in this folder

? Application.StartupPath
(enter above in the Immediate window, Ctrl-g, and hit enter)

Normally this will be your XLSTART folder

Maybe it is blocked

On the Help menu click on About Microsoft Excel
The see if it is listed in Disabled items
