Default Workbook.Open() Fails in Vista

We have been building applications using Excel objects for over 10 years.
The can run either as a Windows Service or non-Service.

Until Vista, we had no issues.

On Vista, our applications work fine as a non-service but fail when run as a
service.

The failure occurs when we open a workbook Workbooks.Open which causes an
exception to occur.

Our applications are built with good old VS6.

Any help from an expert out there would be greatly appreciated.
