Dear All

Excel 97:
1. have merged col F and col G for say 10 rows.

2. able to mark and 'drag n drop' below the 10th row.

3. unable to mark and 'drag n drop' say for example row 3 to 6 marked and
to be dragged n dropped to row 8th. Get message stating "do u want to
replace the contents of the destination cells' . When click yes, 'this
operation will cause merged cells to unmerge' and cells get unmerged. Pls
advice how to do it with out getting the cells unmerged.

4. sheet is protected but the merged cells are not protected.
