Default Why can't I run an assigned macro?

Hi,

I have created a macro in a workbook and then I assigned that macro to an
object in the same workbook. But when I try to run the macro by clicking on
the object, it says that the file/workbook I am using is locked for editing
by me! And so the macro won't run.
(I'm not an expert on macros, but I have created others before this way and
never got this problem)

Can anyone help me understand what should I do?
Maybe somehow I created the macro in a wrong way?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
