Default Replace old sheet with new without losing formula ref

Is is possible to retain the formula or rather the ref in one sheet to
other sheet, when the other sheet are replaced by new sheets with
updated data.

Say I have sheet one with formula ref to sheet 2 named :"TEST". This
sheet is to be replaced with updated data and hence has to
replaced .Now To name it text i have to delete the old test. Or I have
to name it something else. In which case the formula would only refer
to old data

Help welcome for a solution.
