Default why my excel data lost on cd ?

hi

when i copy my excel workbook whit 20 worksheet on CD and i open it again
from cd
i see a massege "your data may be lost" and really my any data or furmola
was lost when i copy my excel file on cd, then what do i for this problem ?

i open a word program and made a OLE object from my excel file in a this
word program and saved this new word program as a XML format and copy it to
cd and

it help me to solve problem but my file password was lost ,please guide me
for solve this problem.

Default why my excel data lost on cd ?

Never attempt to open from or save to a removable media. In your case, you
should copy the file from the CD to your hard drive then open the file from
your hard drive. HTH Otto
