Private Sub Workbook_BeforeClose()
If Not fMacro Then Cancel = True
End Sub

and then in my macro that save and print and quit

change

ActiveWorkbook.Save
Application.Quit

to this
ActiveWorkbook.Save
ThisWorkbook.fMacro = True



this did not work.
