Problem with function WorkBook.ChangeLink

I have a workbook with more than 200 links. When I use the function
ChangeLink, it takes much more time when the application is not visible. How
can i solve it?
I have a big problem because my application runs really slow.
I am working with c# and Microsoft Excel 2007.
